Hi, I'm Carrie! My journey in health and fitness started about 7 years ago when I finally decided I was sick and tired of being a “sideline mom” and always feeling exhausted, physically and mentally. Not only was my physical health poor, but my mental health was too. I wanted to be the active, happy, energetic mom that was able to keep up with my kiddos and enjoy life! I began focusing on my nutrition with the guidance of a health coach and then I found a personal trainer. After that, I found a passion for guiding others in their own nutrition and fitness journeys. I began teaching POUND because I loved the loud music, energy, and sweat-dripping cardio after attending my first POUND class. After teaching POUND, I decided to continue helping others and got certified as a personal trainer. I trained and taught POUND at a studio in Sanford for almost 2 years.
I now own my own small business, EveryBODY Fitness, located at 419 S. Saginaw in Midland. Teaching comes naturally to me as my college degree is in Teaching. I worked in early childhood education for 13 years.
When I’m not teaching POUND or training clients, you can find me hanging out with my husband (Darnell) of 18 years and 2 daughters, listening to audiobooks, boating at Torch Lake, or visiting a local coffee shop. I’m a proud mama to 2 beautiful daughters (Sylvie 12, Delainey 10), and 1 angel daughter (Chloe). Our mini goldendoodle, Daisy Duke, and our pit bull mix, Lily Lou, keeps me busy, too!
